Investment Committee
Investment decisions of the Turquoise Iran Equity Investments are made by the portfolio manager, as assisted by the Tehran-based Investment Committee. The Investment Committee consists of the portfolio manager as the chair of the committee, the risk and compliance manager, in-house analysts and a number of independent market experts. The role of the investment committee includes monitoring the performance of the portfolio and providing insight and detailed analysis of the market and assessments of individual companies, thereby recommending buys/sells in line with the investment strategy.
Iran Advisory Committee
This committee is based in Tehran and consists of high-level individuals with years of experience in the fields of banking, investment, economic analysis and policy making. This committee meets twice a year and helps Turquoise navigate smoothly in Iran and get a better understanding of macroeconomic issues and policy changes in the country.
